Hello District Childcare Families,
We hope you are enjoying your summer! As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we wanted to share important information regarding August childcare tuition rates and a few updates for the 2026-2027 school year.
Please note: This message applies ONLY to District Childcare families. If your child is enrolled in Early Head Start, please disregard this message.
August Tuition
To accommodate the different return-to-work schedules throughout the district, we have created four prorated tuition options for August:
- July 31 – August 31
- August 3 – August 31
- August 13 – August 31 (Teacher return date)
- August 19 – August 31 (First day of school)
For children in Pre-K through 6th grade, these prorated rates have been calculated to include:
- Full-time or part-time childcare until school begins, and
- Before- and after-school care once school is in session.
This means your August tuition has already been prorated and combined into one monthly amount, so you will not be charged full-time or part-time childcare for the entire month once school starts.
Please complete the attached Google Form to let us know your child's anticipated start date. This information is necessary so we can bill your family accurately for August.
If you plan to pay for childcare through payroll deduction, please remember that you must complete a new payroll deduction authorization form in Frontline for the upcoming school year.
2026-2027 School Year Rates
We have also attached the childcare tuition rates for the the 2026-2027 school year for your reference.
New This Year – Gray Friday Childcare
We are excited to offer childcare on Gray Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This service is available only to:
- 10-month and 12-month district employees, and
- Teachers/Staff on Special Assignment (such as Friday school, etc) .
Eligibility will be verified with supervisors prior to enrollment.
Please note the following:
- Gray Friday care is not included in your monthly tuition.
- The fee is $20 per child, per Gray Friday.
- Payment must be made prior to the Gray Friday your child will attend.
- Families will also be required to complete a sign-up form in advance so we can appropriately staff for the number of children attending.
Additional information regarding the sign-up process and payment deadlines will be shared before the first Gray Friday.

The Bobcat Royal Family Ball was a magical evening filled with sparkle, smiles, and royal fun!
Everyone arrived dressed in their finest gowns, crowns, and dress-up clothes, ready for a night to remember.
Guests had the chance to meet some of their favorite princesses, share special moments, and enjoy dancing and laughter with friends.
From twirling on the dance floor to making unforgettable memories, it truly was a royal celebration where a wonderful time was had by all!
